Dear Ches, Karen and Holly;

John and I have struggled hard to find a few words that reflect Judy’s amazing and unique presence for us and everyone who knew or worked
with her. The words we chose are just a pale image of Judy’s boundless spirit, but we offer them with sincere condolences in a time of inexpressible sorrow.

We knew Judy for a few years because she married my cousin Ches, Judy enriched our lives every time we met. After sharing animated dinners in her company, we always came away inspired by her passion, abundance of love for Ches, talent, optimism, energy, and humble loving dedication to the people and causes she held dear.

Her infectious smile and laughter are imprinted forever in our minds. As deeply shocked as we are at Judy's too-sudden and tragic passing we hope and pray that her lasting legacy will be the joyful memories of her selfless actions and numerous accomplishments and the strength of so many loving relationships she created and nurtured.

John and I were so fortunate to have met Judy.

Judy was all about family and you can attest to that by meeting her two beautiful daughters.

Brenda and John

Judy, your light shone so brightly and your smile lit up the lives and hearts of everyone you met . You were always treasured, and always will be.
"Had we never lov’d sae kindly,
Had we never lov’d sae blindly,
Never met – or never parted,
We had ne’er been broken hearted."
- Robbie Burns

When Judy joined the West Group of the West Carleton Country Knitters what a true inspiration to all of us. Such beautiful items she made for our chosen charities and bright new ideas she brought to the group. Our meetings will never be the same. We send our deepest sympathies to her family. Eleanor Reynaud, leader of the West Group.
